Somatic Practice Space
A weekly, virtual, 20-min, body-centered practice designed to bring greater connection to the body and reduce feelings of stress.
These practices are adapted from Somatic Experiencing, Mindfulness, and Trauma-sensitive yoga.
The Details
Somatic Practice Space will take place live via Zoom Webinar on Wednesdays at 12p EST. All sessions will be recorded and shared with registered participants.
Week one, April 3rd: Ground & Steady
Week two, April 10th: Release & Let Go
Week three, April 17th: Back to the Present
Week four, April 24th: Energize
Each session will have the same agenda and structure:
Landing in your space
Engage in 1-3 somatic practices (specifically ones that are designed to evoke the feelings listed above)
Reflective journaling
Contain & Close
